Let us remind that 2012 is the Year of the Holy Sacraments in Uthe GCC and the second year of the preparation for the celebration of the 1025th anniversary of the baptism of Rus-Ukraine. Therefore, the Synod of Bishops of the Kyiv-Halych Supreme Archbishopric of the UGCC of May 25-26, 2011, instructed its Catechetical Committee headed by Fr. Mykhailo Harvat to organize the Year of the Holy Sacraments.
