11:36 PM Christ is risen!!!
Bearing torches let us meet bridegroom, Christ, as He comes forth from His tomb; and let us greet, with joyful worships the saving Pasch of God Christ is Risen!!!I heartily greet all of you with the glorious feast of Christ’s Resurrection. I hope that you will be able to fully experience the joy of this feast, which is the feast of our faith and our life. As St Paul the Apostle said: "If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Cor. 15, 17,20-22).
God came
into the world and became one of us. By His death and resurrection He conquered sin
and death to give us true freedom and true life. What could be more precious than this? So, I urge
all of you
to accept this precious gift and use it; to accept freedom and life, which God
grants, and live with God as a free person; to accept this joy and love and
share them with others through your faith and life. Come forth to meet Christ and after you
have met Him – walk with Him at every moment of your life. Fr. Andriy Mykytyuk parish priest
